I redid the open 12.3 today because the wife wanted to try it.

    18 minutes - AMRAP

15 Box Jumps (24" / She did 12" but she's pregnant - I don't feel comfortable with her trying any higher than that.)
    12 Push Press (95 / 35)
9 Toes to bar (She did knees to elbows)

    Me - 6 + 15
    Wife - 4

Dropping back to the 95# push press made a huge difference. I likely would have finished my last round but I had to wait to get in the "Tower of Power" twice to do my T2B.

Running sucks. I fucking hate it worse than the taliban. Anyone who does it for fun needs to be committed. Carry on.

Today was strenght and form day...

    Bench - 3x8 (185#)
    Squat - 3x8 (275#)
    Push Press - 3x8 (105#)
Strict Dead Hang Pullups - 3x8
    Deadlift - 3x8 (275#)
Also working on my overhead squats, which still need some major form work. Glenn gave me some tips that helped a little, but I'm still not there yet.

    Thanks man!

Yeap - I did this for the first time last year and decided to make it a tradition. It's gonna be hell by the time I'm 80, but I'll have 80 minutes to do it....

Here's a great way to start off the weekend.

In teams of 2, for time:

    2 rope climbs (15ft)

    20 snatch (135lb/95lb)

    2 rope climbs (15ft)

    20 clean and jerk (135lb/95lb)

    3 rope climbs (15ft)

    30 burpees

    3 rope climbs (15ft)

    30 burpees

    4 rope climbs (15ft)

    40 GHD situps

    4 rope climbs (15ft)

    40 GHD situps

In this WOD, Team Member 1 completes 2 rope climbs and 20 snatch. After the 20th snatch, Team Member 2 perfoms 2 rope climbs and 20 clean and jerk…then it is Team Member 1′s turn to complete 3 rope climbs and 30 burpees…and Team Member 2 performs 3 rope climbs and 30 burpees……then each does a series of 4 rope climbs and 40 GHD situps. Sub 5 pullups for each rope climb. You need to choose which team member will do the snatch and who will do clean and jerk.

    Breakdown:

    TM1 - 2 RC, 20 snatch / 3 RC, 30 burpees / 4 RC, 40 GHD situps

    TM2 - 2 RC, 20 clean and jerk / 3 RC, 30 burpees / 4 RC, 40 GHD situps

    Have fun and go hard!
