Dry field dove and teal hunting for youths.

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I learned about that area VIA John Gierach.

A friend took me snow hunting in Texas few years ago. Big bunches of teal criss-crossed that dry field all morning long, about 5 feet off the ground. It was after the duck season.
I'd as soon have been shooting the teal.

There's only a few hints I'd pay to go on, this would probably be one. That looks fun.

That's one of the best videos I've seen in a while. Thanks bogster! If I am blessed with a son, I'd love to be able to get him on some youth hunts like those.

Don't look now, but girls hunt too. Hopefully my little girl will want to go with me when she's old enough.

If we were only blessed with teal hunts over dry fields....
