Posted - 12/30/2011 : 3:46:28 PM I walked into the woods at 12:20 and went straight to the spot I was planning on hunting until this evening. I didn't still hunt in like I normally do, and when I got there (about 12:40) I stood up on a dike to look around for a good place to set up on the ground. I heard a noise coming from up wind, but then the wind started to blow so I didn't think it was anything. I decided to wait a few more seconds and then I saw five or six piglets trotting along towards me. I shot 5 times and watched them scatter then realized I wasn't taking my time (I need to work on my "fever") so I lined up and shot again at a stupid one that was facing toward me. Maybe they were stunned. It stumbled then started jumping up in the air about five feet as the rest ran off the way they came.
