Default Arahhhhhhhh-Kansas has too much water and no birds

So they say but the wife and me along with my 2 kid cousins from GA(who have only hunted ducks about 3 times) found a few!! Rented a field in NE and hunted flooded river bank in scrub timber first morning all hunts were out of this world, lots of first, and lots of novice shooting finished each day with one or two over or under a three man limit(out of 4). Ended the weekend with right at 60 ducks and I killed my speck limit on the last day. They each took turns shooting a few good drakes on the last day and the wife got her a good one or three also!! Can't wait for the next one!!

    Day 1

    Day 2

    Day 3

My Favorite Pic of the trip
My thoughts exactly JAB. I figure, i'll never retire, always work doing something. Rather have boats, guns now and be able to use em than to save and save and then be too out of health to enjoy it.

    O yea!

I wish I could breathe life back in him, if I could I'd hunt him again tomorrow. - Ben Rodgers Lee

It's hard to beat a mixed bag of mallards, pintails, and specs! Thanks for sharing.

Was this the reason you didn't get your black duck?
