Bottom line: the war on (some) drugs is a dismal failure and should be ended immediately. It won't be because our constitution has been routinely ignored by the leaders of this country since virtually the day it was ratified. Observation of the 4th and 10th amendments would be a good start.

I agree with your observations Wampuskat. Very well stated. Whether or not you like to smoke the weeds, the war on drugs is the biggest waste of tax payer dollars in this country's history.

I am betting that 8 years of Hillary Clinton will see the war sharply curtailed, and if we can get another 8 afterwards, it will be ended once and for all with legalization just around the corner.
