    I think you are idiots.

    (I am attacking the idea, not the person)

    Habitat protection cannot be overlooked.

    DU is the one doing it.

    Every one of you should be behind them...but instead, you spout off about drunks unlimited and all that...and put that little change back in your pocket...and dont do shit with it.

    i dont care about your local chapter banquet and who attends it and who drinks all the booze....but i DO care about ducks.

    And they need wetlands.
    and i wouldn't care if friggin' HITLER came in here and put easements on them.

    Period.

    End of story.

    (this rant is directly related to an exasparating day and is in no means an attempt to piss people off or to raise money for DU or any other waterfowl group except the Flyway Foundation who just received another 1000 stickers today and can be had for FREE at the SEWE next month)

    I'm with you Toof!

    I don't know why DU is labeled Drunks Unlimited b/c the damn Delta event I went to in Columbia a few weeks back wasn't run any different. In fact I got drunker there than I do at the DU events.

    I've been waiting on my sticker for a damn year! I guess I'll see you at the SEWE!

    my sh!t gets moved and doesn't ruffle as many feathers.

    I still think DU is the only show in town that is preserving so much wetlands. I think they should be applauded and financially backed. they know how to play the "government game" and can turn your $100 into $500 in the blink of an eye.

    If you care at all, you should be supporting them. If you are bashing them, you are just pocketing the money and wasting oxygen by bitching about the "sport you hold so dear."

    Support DU but also get involved. Can't bitch if you do not have a voice and you will not have a voice if you ain't part of efforts to improve duck hunting.

    For these guys who bash DU how can they say a thing if they have no idea how it works and what gets done. The only way to know that is get involved. Not just by your ticket and eat your dinner and hope you win a tier raffle prize and maybe get a gun. Get on a committe. Go to a state meeting. Talk to your RD's and other staffers and see the whole picture.

    Then you might have a better picture of the whole thing. But until you do something other than bitch that the hole you have been going to for the last ten years doesn't have ducks this year then shut up. You have no idea what you are talking about.
