Default One Swine Weekend Part II

The girl did it again on Thursday...
She took advantage of hog shining law and stepped out of the clubhouse with a flashlight and her glock 9mm. We snuck right up on this fella (barefooted) without him knowing. 2 shots later and this was kickin on the ground. Check out that new camo ...

I got lucky as well and took out a 140lb Ginger from the herd on Sunday night. The pic doesn't show the real ginger color in his hair but its there. I think I have a decent one of him on the trail cam that I will dig up later.

There is no closed season on hogs on private land and hogs can be hunted at night with an artificial light that is carried on the hunter's person attached to a helmet or hat, or part of a belt system worn by the hunter and with a sidearm that has iron sites, and barrel length not exceeding nine inches (50-11-710). The sidearm may not be equipped with a butt-stock, scope, laser site, or light emitting or light enhancing device. However, hogs may not be hunted at night from a vehicle, or with a centerfire rifle or shotgun, unless specifically permitted by the department.

Not to split hairs, cuz I am all about killin the swine, but I thought the light had to be attached to a hat, helmet, etc (which is why I asked my clarification question originally). If I get busted by green jeans, I wanna be on the right side of the law. We got hogs that need killing and they are nocturnal as hell right now. A plain ole flashlight or Q beam would be real handy if that is legal!

I don't see where it would be a problem not being attached to a hat or helmet. A simple flash light shouldn't be a problem. A q-beam might pose an issue unless you can tote the battery around on your belt....

Geez, I wasnt trying to make the guy feel all uncomfortable and shit. Gotta call a guy's "priorities" in question for being "kinda" polite.

Dang. You bubble boys are meanies.

Oh yeah! Her birthday is next week and she wants a Winchester Super X 3! Is that normal for a 21 yr old female?
