    Default Cross fit this Bitches

    Did my first triathlon this morning. 300 meter swim, 15 mile bike ride and a 5K run. I had 4 goals. 1. Finish. 2. Finish not last. 3. Do it in under 2 hours and 4. Run the entire 5K at the end. Met or beat all my goals since I finished in 1 hour 40 minutes and although I wasn’t running fast at the end I never stopped or walked. Not bad for a 51 year old fat ass 6 years past bypass surgery. And as a bonus, I got a cool medal for being the only old fart in my division. Ten years from now when my grandkids see the medal, they will never have to know I was the only one it that age group.

    i hear ya on that. my dad has done 3 or 4 iron mans. including the one in kona hawaii. pretty crazy stuff. always asks me if i wanna come runnin, swimmin, or bikin with em. i look at em like hes a dumbass haha but congrats!
