It's a fact. There's some big gators in Wilson Creek too. I saw one about 4' long laying dead on the bridge a couple of years back. Car must have hit it when it was trying to cross the road.

Found this truck at the ramp after shooting some snipe. Added a few birds to emphasize the stickers. Surprised there were any snipe left after this guy had been there.
