SeaCraft rebuild.....
Thought some of you may like this so here it is!
This is a 1970 potter Built SeaCraft, 20 ft that I bought in 2008 with the intentions of rebuilding sometime soon. I knew it had some issues but decided to rig it and run it fora couple of years then decide how to proceed.
All the work is being done in Charleston by High & Dry Boatworks and it will be one quality, sweet ride when complete!
I had a new 70 gallon tank built, the bracket will go back on after some minor work, there will be a large fish box in the floor as well as bulk storage. The livewell is 40 gallons in the new leaning post. The transom, floor, stringers, and new cap will all be structural foam material. There will also be no forward deck.....open all the way forward. There will also be a T top ( I must have shade these days).
After cutting her open, there was A LOT of wet, water-logged wood and foam....probably 750 pounds or more!
Standby, more to come......
