Tip #1 Start wiping Butt more often and with better end results #2 Stop dropping shit #3 Dont fish in a pond with no fish. Now three is a tricky one because I put you where there is no way(NO F-----G WAY) you would not see a deer! Well you didn't. The Lord might not be happy with your choices, Stop pulling for Clemson!

This is the only deer currently stupid enough to come around my feeder - which hasn't run in a week. Note the time. Bastages. Not that I'd shoot this pissant, but there are LOADS of sign all around this spot.

    Just not IN it.

Like you, I ain't seein' much. I'm about to get back into my "climb up a gum tree next to a cutover that I need an oxygen mask" mode and just hunt transients.

Yep. He even brought his coon buddies.

If I keep feeding on my current schedule, I will be able to harvest an 80 pound raccoon in February.

I know some don't like 'em, but a fox is a neat critter.

    i like em too.

had one of them in the driveway last night eating persimmons.

i poured a bunch of minerals out and they have had a ball rolling in it. hasnt stopped the deer at all.

one coyote showed up months back. hasnt been back.

    Lowcountry Pro Tip
    1. Fill truck bed up(eared)
    2. dump truck bed of corn down road, say 30 yard strip(not one big pile to rot)
    3. Come back in 2 weeks.
    4. kill deer

Dont be riding by that crap every other day either, leave it alone.

My cousin has always told my he would visit a girl to get rid of the funk and get the deer coming to him. Blacker the berry, sweeter the juice. It COULD change your luck?!!

    Give up on trying!

Just get in a stand and sit there.

I think you try too hard.
Let it happen. Friday will be your day. Where do you want it to happen?

if i could pick one spot to concentrate on out there it would be the old loc on spot between tall and the creek, but closer to the creek... where he whacked the big 8 point years ago that we tracked for 2 hours.

next spot would be tram road. i bet that loc on is still in there too. i saw deer everytime i sat that hole and killed 2....including my first bow miss then first bow kill. thats a special spot.

Dang 2th, I'm kinda glad I couldn't make that trek to ACE Basin last week. I did get to sit a spot and saw nothing, but it was a bit closer to home and I didn't have to deal with those dang mosquitoes. Not sure where they were, but they weren't around me. You'll shake that monkey off I'm sure of it. Even Babe Ruth went through slumps.

I'm in my own little twilight zone too. I've seen some big bucks, but only got a shot on one and shorted him. Misjudged the distance. Clean miss. I wanted to punch something real bad, but was too scared I'd fall out the tree. Haven't seen a doe in the stand yet this year though. I've never had that happen.
