Sooooo Close
The wife sat her blind for the second time tonight and had six come in. She said one looked like a decent eight we had pictures of with a small six with two does and two yearlings. She said it was too dark to tell were her shot placement would be when the bucks came in so she passed for another time for better shot conditions. That is better control than a lot of people I know. Not one of the deer blew or stomped for ten minutes. She was pretty pumped needless to say when I picked her up. By the way my eight year old daughter was sitting with her and they didn't get busted. I must say....I am a very proud husband and dad. I didn't see anything that resembled a deer but we'll keep at it.
I gave a guy a ride in tonight and he said his friend made a bad shot on a ten point this morning when that deer and another buck was chasing a doe. Things are heating up fpr sho.
