    Default Numero Uno

Sat in the urban setting last night hoping to break the ice and to help alleviate the stress of having to put one of my dogs down yesterday. Long story short......two deer came in and only one left out of sight. Twenty yard, low, double lung shot with my last two blade Rage in the quiver. Shot sitting down out of a Summit Viper. The deer didn't make it fifty yards from where the saturated, red arrow was stuck in the ground. Now with the monkey off my back, I can concetrate on bigger and better things.

    Good deal man!
If you give 10 people a bag of gold, someone will complain about how heavy it is!

Nice Job! I have not mastered the art of slinging arrahs sitting down in my Summit Viper. I am too worried about banging my bow on the stand.

A friend and I spent one afternoon eight years ago practicing that shot. Try to set your shot up from the left side if you are right handed. The bow is hanging over the left support when it is at full draw. So it is not even close to the stand when I shoot. Most of my upper part of the stand is padded too so it is pretty quite. Give it a try. It also helps steady the shot like a rest for a rifle.

I shoot a lot steadier sitting. Then you don't have the sway of your entire body throwing you off. As miniscule as it is it does affect your shot.
