I've been known to fracture a law sometimes. Guilty as charged. Got caught at times and paid my fines too. Crap like light on the boat issues and registration expired.

I couldn't agree more with this. They should make an example out of him for sure, but I have a feeling that you won't hear a whole lot more about it.

I'm just saying that most of us (myself included) have done similar things...

The law doesn't apply to everybody, y'all know that. The dude will probably hire some high priced lowcountry good 'ol boy lawyer and all charges will mysteriously go away. Yes, if he has children they will be raised just like that, WE are above the law.
