What ever happened to the slaughter that started this thread?
They Got smart and started coming to feed in the middle of the night before I could get a chance to hunt them. I put a feeder in there and set it during day light hours and still didn't help. Finally have moved the feeder out of the bottom and up on a ridge on Wed.
I GOT AN IDEA! BUY a land mine or a machine gun those would work great!
I was going to suggest a hand grenade but looks like duckcrazed has the better idea. Let me know if you need some help. I'd be glad to take a few out (or at least try). I believe you are allowed to hunt them at night now.

Don't believe it will work... at least not on the first shot.
Propane will only ignite if the 'cloud' is less than 10% mix of the surrounding air. So you might have to try an initial shot to cause the leak, and then another 'sparking shot' to ignite it... unless you have another fire source nearby, such as a cigarette stuck on a match, etc.
How that mixes with ATF regs about explosives, I don't know... ???
