Default I am a fat fuck!

OK. I am officially considered a fat fuck! At 5'9" and 260 lbs I definitely qualify as morbidly obese. I am on blood pressure and cholesterol medicine.

You guys have inspired me to start with this Primal/Paleo stuff. I ordered the book and we will have a real world test to see if this shit works.

I will have my wife take a fat picture of me today and we will see where I am at in 1 week, 2 weeks etc.

    Wish me luck!

    PS Is this Grok?

Get at it man!!!! I'd say "best of luck" but luck has nothing to do with - work hard, and don't cheat yourself and you'll be sucessful. Make your own damn luck.

Got tired of being fat too. Now I am running 3-4 miles a day with 120 push-ups. Don't skip a day, don't splurge. Do it for you. Go get 'em!

    This is Grok!

Congrats on taking the first leap. duckduckdog, Tater and others are true to life tangible stories of what this lifestyle can and will do for you.

Need anything holler and start hitting the home WODs I post.

    Grok on!

I just turned the big 50 this year and figure if I don't do something to improve my health I won't be around to see my grand kids!

    Well said.

You can do it brother. There are many paths to sucess...find the one that's right for you.

I'm very intrigued with this Primal Bluebrint book. I'm heading out later on this afternoon to see if I can pick up a copy.

I've dropped over 110lbs on a low carb diet in 7 months. It's worked great, but I want to transition to a clean version that I can sustain over the next year or longer.

This one sounds pretty wholesome and effective.

Diet can get the weight off....but consistent excercise is great for your heart and muscles. I think this Primal eating may give me more fuel to weightlift & cardio than this low carb ketosis diet has.

Reward yourself, brother. Shed that weight and make yourself healthy in the process. The benefits are unreal.

    Default OK

Here is a Picture to prove what a fat fuck I am.

After one week on this Primal Blueprint and beginning working out at the YMCA I have lost 8 pounds.

I will wait one month and take another picture to see if there is progress.

Keep at it. Day in and day out. Never forget the goal and your reasons for doing this and always believe that you can. We've all been there. I got to 240 by my sophomore year in college. Two years later I hit a weight I hadn't seen since early high school, 185. I'm now at 180. It's not an easy road, but quite possibly the most rewarding thing I've done in my life. Good luck man!

Stay on track and you will look back at that picture in 6 months and not recognize yourself.

You do anything for 3 weeks and it becomes habit.

Do they make a tutu that hangs to your knees? I am worried that, if I wear it, I might expose....never mind...you wouldn't understand.

MRoss, good on you for taking control. I am a pretty thin dude, but my family history is to put on a big belly in the later thirties. I am by no means Paleo, but I eat well, and work my ass off in the gym. There is really no excuse for being fat. It's just not good for you, and you can absolutely control it. Once you do it for a while, you will detest food that isn't on your diet. Get after it, and you will be rewarded.

Keep after it man... you're the only person who can change it. Do what know you need to do. The results will follow.
