If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Missing you my great friend.
Cool vid on how they do the research, but it didn't give any conclusions on what they found out.

I heard secondhand that 68% of collared fawns got eaten by coyotes this summer, and 5 of 7 eaten in a few weeks during the summer 06 study.
I have heard the same thing. 5 out of 7 killed in a few weeks.
Warning: The Surgeon General has determined that turkey hunting is an addictive activity that will disrupt normal sleep patterns!
They best be letting the predator hunters in there then before they have to re-stock the place with deer. I always figured hogs would kill fawns. Anybody know if they do?

I ran into that guy one evening at work. He was tracking deer with the receiver. One thing that they didn't tell you in the video was how they knew when and where the fawn dropped. When they catch the pregnant does they insert a small transmitter in the uterus. When the fawn is born, it pushes the transmitter out and it starts transmitting. That is how they can get within a few yards of the fawn to find it with the IR. Pretty cool.
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.
