I have seen it...think it is a ground cover plant that works good for soil erosion problems...but I have been wrong before. Looks like the tweety boids would like it.

I saw it at Chic Fillet and thought it was pretty cool. I have some love grass but it's not as pretty or as big as this plant. This one is about knee high.

I have a ton of it in my new landscape, it is nice, however beware, that shit gets outta hand before the end of the growing season and has to be cut back by 30% to not look like absolute shitake.

    kd,

Do you wait til fall or cut it when you think it needs it?

If you cut it before fall, does it start growing back immediately?

we tried to wait until fall the first year and the shit ran rampid and looked like hell, course as it gets taller the wind reeks havock on it too. Last season I cut as soon as it started looking bad and it bounced back in a week. Hardy stuff I tell ya. But you will also need to make the cut when you cut all other grasses back in January/February. Some people cut as soon as the stalks are brittle. IMHO, Dried grasses are beatiful, I leave them as long as I can, and make certain to cut before the growing season begins.

hope that helps! Mine are already looking good and will need to be cut in July prolly.
