My dear Daddy told me a long time ago that the true measure of a man was the quality of his family and friends. Chris must have been a wonderful man. A better epitaph perhaps cannot be written.

Tonight, I hold my girls close and will say a prayer for Chris and his girls. May God watch over them and hold them close.

Folks, we are NOT promised a tomorrow. Make every day count.

    Well said, Andy.

Thanks guys. Anyone who hasn't signed one of the guestbooks please do.

As Nitro said in an earlier post, these small comments about her Dad will mean more than we realize to his daughter someday. The comments we make today will jog her memory and help her to remember the good, fun times she spent with her Dad. Especially if you mention things like the outdoors and crawfish, things we know she enjoyed doing with her Dad.

She's only 6 or 7 years old right now, but when she turns 18, 25 or even 70 years old these comments are going to mean more to her than money or gold. And they are going to help her remember a man who meant the whole world to her as a child.

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

    Thanks Mergie.
