    Kicked up a juvi drake sowing some Jap. today.
    He didn't want to leave as he just moved around the pond as I did.

    drove up to one beaver pond today and jumped about 8 ...good signs... and about 30 woodies in the next one down

    Haven't seen any yet. Saw 18 blackbellied whistlers and about 50 woodies tonight.

    I kind of wonder how Irene may affect the BWT migration. Pretty sure they got blown out of the Northeast I just wonder if they didn't pass the Carolinas by and kept trucking?

    well i've never had BWT teal at my place until this year...dont know how long they have been there but they are there

    Me too, but you would hope with any (unfortunate) destroyed habitat north of us pushes them down quicker and hold them here for longer.

    Had a drake BWT hangin out with the resident mallards in the neighborhood yesterday. Goin to see if he's still there soon......

    I've seen few doves since the storm passed by but I had not seen a lot of doves this summmer anyway. I'm going to try and scout some holes for teal in the next few days, the cool temps this AM were nice, just hope it doesn't seen what teal we have packing

    Had a friend say he jumped a wad the other day on a small pond behind his work. Hopefully they keep coming til mid-Sept.

    i havent seen the ones i saw last week or so anymore... i hope they moved to another hole in the swamp
