    Default Effects of the storm?

How about dove field conditions in coastal counties now that the storm has passed?

Horry, Georgetown, Charleston, Beaufort, Marion, Florence, Williamsburg, et al:

    1. Did you dove field sunflowers, corn, millet weather the storm or get significant wind damage?

    2. Did your birds sit tight or get dispersed?

It was no worse than a summertime thunderstorm around most of the area. I would guess the doves are fine.

Mine were not there this morning, not the way they have been at least. I think this quick heat up might help though.

All I know is there are zero birds where I had intended to spend opening day. Even went so far as to plow a strip down to dust and bait the shit out of it and no birds showed up....not looking good up here.

Still got plenty of time for the birds to get right.

Had about 50 back in the field at 11:30, so I cut a little more millet for them.

Thanks, Sashimi. That was a fast return.

This stage of the game, I'd gly the shit out of it rightfugginnow (if you hadn't already), disk a few strips, and burn the shit out it friday morning, then set a bushog on the ground while it was still smoldering.

Slaya- got mike tyson working on my homing doves- I told him to send some scouts to your place and take a few of mine with them.
