    Default To Late?

I am thinking about planting a small dove field. Is it to late? WHat would you recommend planting? I was thinking brown top millet or sorghum.

you can throw out some wheat and pray to god you don't get caught hunting over it, but other than that try to find an opening in a club or go hang out with all the other idiots on a public field

Season opens in a couple of weeks. You may be able to get something going for the late seasons.

Too late my man. Ain't enough warm days in this season to make a crop of any kind. As all he Coot fans say, "Wait 'til next year!"

Do you have access to a pasture where you can cut/bail the hay. I have had some great hunts over freshly bailed hay fields.

Bush hog a field and plow you about 4 strips of fresh dirt in it.

You won't have a barn burner but you'll get enough birds to keep you busy for an afternoon.

Save the money you'd waste trying to plant a field and use it to get in on a last minute lease. Then get your act together in June next year and plant something earlier.
