    Default Dove field question

Most of my field is looking good like this.

But some parts seem to of been messed up by army worms. The plants look ok but are seeding out a little do you think that they will make for the season.

and what is this plant it. It is growing in some sandy areas the brown top wont grow.

Lower picture is Sicklepod or Coffee weed. You need to get rid of it before you have a big problem with it. Its seeds are toxic.

I dont care how much you spray the sicklepod; it's damn near impossible to completely get rid of the stuff once its established. Field looks great though, good luck come September.

Looks like a judicious application of some top sown wheat is in order....

sicklepod blows. You've bout got to spray it a couple years in a row before it seeds to get rid of it. That means not planting your field for a few years.

Will deer eat it. It looks like something has been eating it. And the seeds look to be the same as what i have pulled out of dove when cleaning them.
