South Carolina quarterbacks coach G.A. Mangus was arrested early Tuesday morning in Greenville and charged with nuisance conduct.
At 1:31 a.m. Tuesday, two Greenville police officers in an unmarked patrol car "observed Mangus facing Main St. urinating on the street curb and roadway," according to a report from the Greenville police department. When an officer who was called to the scene by those two officers approached Mangus, the coach was "unsteady on his feet and he had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his person," the report stated.
When questioned by the officer, Mangus speech was slurred and he was "uncooperative in providing straight answers," the report stated. Mangus was then handcuffed and taken to the Greenville detention center.
According to the ticket received by Mangus on the scene, he will face a $470 fine for the incident.
The South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association annual coaching convention is in Greenville this week.
Mangus is entering his third season at South Carolina. He came to the Gamecocks in 2009 from Middle Tennessee State, and he was given much of the credit last season for starter Stephen Garcia’s improved accuracy and consistency.
Mangus also has become one of South Carolina’s top recruiters. He was named one of the nation’s top 25 recruiters by ESPN, Rivals.com and 247Sports.com in February.

I searched a forum, then copied and pasted (I have a job, don't have time to edit USC arrest lists). If you take out the non-arrests, the list is still plenty long.

I was just trying to prove a point: USC has more arrests in the last decade than Clemson.

All validity of USC/Clemson arrest history went out the window with the Craig incident....

I understand that the website distinguishes between the two. I just wanted the rest of these posters to understand that there are only two main types of charges/cases. Honestly, I had not opened the link before I posted.

Trevor was in the right on that one for starters. If you knew the story, you would have done the same thing. Pissing on Main Street in Greenville is a little different.

Clemson Coach Arrested for Assaulting Daughters

    William
Clemson (WLTX) - The head soccer coach of Clemson University has been arrested, after authorities say he physically assaulted his own daughters.

Chief Jimmy Dixon of the Clemson Police Department says that around 2:30 Saturday morning, police received a call concerning loud screams and a fight on Catawbah Road. On arrival, police say they found 48-year-old William Trevor Adair and a few others, on the front lawn of Adair's home.

Authorities say an investigation revealed that Adair had been arguing with members of his family, and found out he had assaulted his two daughters.

He was arrested and charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, however, was released from jail on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond.

Adair has been Clemson's head soccer coach since 1994, he is also the former assistant coach for the University of South Carolina soccer team.

so now soccer counts? Not in my book. Soccer is right below intramural quad ball

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The University of South Carolina quarterback coach was ticketed after police say he urinated outside a Greenville restaurant.
George Alfred Mangus was cited for nuisance conduct on Tuesday morning.
Two officers said they were driving down Main Street in Greenville when they saw Mangus urinating on the sidewalk curb and roadway outside the Carolina Ale House.
Police said there was a large wet area close to where Mangus was standing.
Police said Mangus was unsteady on his feet and had a strong odor of alcohol. Police said his eyes appeared to be dilated and glazed over. Police said when they questioned Mangus about his actions, his speech was slurred and he was uncooperative.
