    they included a free processing and head mount in with my tag this year...... they said if i play my cards correctly, ill get a CP next year with all the gators i kill in SC

    Holy shit I just got mine notification in the mail middle coastal woot! I didn't apply either but there was a note at the bottom that said since there weren't as many applicants this year there was a random drawing of names from sportsman licensee!

    I got mine for upper, and my wife got drawn for the coastal.


    Matt you got lucky, my wife got a free tanning, but we have to do the skinning ourselves.

    Thats what happened with me and I got middle also. Reckon I need to find somebody what knows what the hell their doing to take me. We aint got no gators in Johnston.

    Didn't get drawn this year. Didn't really expect to since I got drawn last year but if people really got drawn that didn't apply, that's pretty shitty considering those of this that did apply paid a fee.

    I can't speak for the random sportsmans licensees, but last year my wifes grandfather did NOT put in a application and got a prefrence point. He has a life time license(over65) and has no computer, but recived in the mail a letter from the DNR that he was not drawn, but would have a point for this year. So I don't know if all over 65 lifetimers get put in for automatically or what, but if so he is liable to get a tag this year. Only problem is he is going to be 90 this fall and ain't not way he would go with me! So that will be a wasted tag.
