I will toss em back if they are in good shape, especially in the evenings, cleaning fish at 10 pm is not my cup o tea. Next month 90 % of what is released will die. So I will start keeping them, per NCWRC recommendation, I will clean em, an keep what I can, and give the rest to sorry ass daddies who want take they kids fishing.....

I am a huge fan of the aluminum foil wrap, some margerine, slice of lemon, clove a garlic, and about 20 minutes on a grill or campfire......

Blackened flaked into Fish tacos has to be 2nd.

last but not least, nuggets, house autry breader and some effin grease.

I have yet to find a striper that I didn't like to eat.

My uncle and I used to fish every afternoon in the summertime on Moultrie.. Wore the rocket bass slap out for about 3 years.. Best day he and I every had was 67 from daylight to dark.. There were 6 keepers in that bunch, when it was over 21".. I caught the biggest at 28"

Best way he ever cooked them was replacing the catfish and adding rockfish in a stew..

We would fish the school with shimmy shad and red heads on top and fling spoons on them until they popped back up.. We have even caught them in 4ft of water in front of Somerset and Wampee.. Other than going through puberty and getting zits, summers in the mid 90s were fun..
