    Default Droid X apps

Got a new Droid X and found a few decent apps, but need some more that are useful on a daily basis.

Best ones so far for me are

    WaveWatch
    SC Boat Ramps
    Marine Traffic
    Weather Channel
    Accuweather
    Droid Complete Distance

What are some other useful free apps for an unrooted Droid?

And really? A virus scanner on an Unix based phone? Seems like a waste of battery power to me.

I think is scans the applications that are put into the phone.

I may have used the wrong wording.

Looks pretty neat. Virus scanning on an Android phone is unnecessary, but the other features look nice. Remote wipe capability is excellent to have if you lose your phone.

GasBuddy---I dont pay for gas as it is so it is irrelevant to me
DroidLight---dont see the need in making the Droid a light that will drain the battery
Jango---Moved all my music from the IPod to the Droid so music apps arent useful plus I have Sirius in the truck
Live Scores---Sirius radio has a few sports stations from what I can tell
Mixzing---Another music app that I dont need
Photobucket---barely use photobucket as is dont need it on the Droid to take up space.

Thanks but none of those are worth the space IMHO.

Splashdance---Thanks for the Marine Weather app not a bad looking app.

Sirius xm has an app. You have to have the premimum subscription to have it tho.

Its great for quick tide checks, looking at current bouy conditions, and you can have radar overlay...saves some time toggling between apps.

Sirius came included with the truck so once the subscription is up I will still have the songs on the Droid

And you think the Weather Channel / Accuweather combo constantly updating doesn't drain your battery?

DroidLight---dont see the need in making the Droid a light that will drain the batteryIt doesn't use the battery unless you are using it. which is not often, but when you need it, its nice to have.
Jango---Moved all my music from the IPod to the Droid so music apps arent useful plus I have Sirius in the truck
Live Scores---Sirius radio has a few sports stations from what I can tellDo you have Sirius in the woods, on the water, etc...
Mixzing---Another music app that I dont needWhat app do you use to play your 10 billion songs?
Photobucket---barely use photobucket as is dont need it on the Droid to take up space. The app uses the same amount of space as 1 song, FYI. if you dont need it, great. i was just throwing it out there.

Thanks but none of those are worth the space IMHO.
