Default Free to a good home

Registered black labrador, 1 y/o male, with nuts, ~100 lbs of lean animal, big block head, thick neck. Fine dog, good with kids (they have 2 young ones), housebroken, well mannered from what I experienced. Young and energetic, but not hyper. Family just came to Charleston AFB from Jersey, live in base housing and husband has to immediately deploy, and they have no fence.

I'd take him in, just can't right now. They don't want to take him to the SPCA. Just trying to help the family find a home for him.

If interested call Rachel at 302-382-7336.

I've already tried to contact a few trainers who may take him in and try him out, but no one wants to return a phone call. I'll try him.

Thanks WW. I talked to Rachel and I'm supposed to go down there on Sunday. Sorry I sent you the PM. I didn't originally see the contact number on your first post.

No problem. PM's replied to. I put Rachel's # so I didn't have to be a middleman. Sounds like you got it man. Keep me posted on what happens.

His name is Diesel, and he should make someone a fine pet, possibly retriever if one were to put the time in.

I live about ten minutes from the Charleston AFB. I will foster the dog if needed until a home is found.

    I have a 7 m.o. male lab and a fenced in yard.

Dawg, I think he is to be picked up on Sunday. They need to find him a home, but it's not do or die as far as getting him out of the house quite yet.

Thanks for offering. Let ya know if your services are needed sir.
