Dove Club

I know it's kind of early but I'm looking for a dove club to join, and would prefer it to be in the Lowcountry, although I'm willing to drive if it's not too expensive and worth it. I know these things are sometimes hard to come by, or not open to membership from the general public, but if anyone has a lead on one I would sure appreciate a heads up. Not many from here know me from Adam, but I'm a safe and respectful adult hunter.

If you are still looking I am starting a dove club of sorts here in the LC. This is our first year putting this together so we are not going to do memberships. We are only going to put together a list of people to contact when we are going to have a shoot. If you are familiar with dove hunting you know that it is impossible to know when or if the birds are going to show up. We are going to have a pay per hunt scenario this year and if all goes as planned we will put together a full fledged membership in the next year or two. First we want to establish a reputation for having excellent hunts.
I'm sure you are wondering about the price; until I have tallied up how much we have spent on planting I can't give you a price. Everyone will draw for stands. These fields are dedicated to Dove hunting not farming. Everything that we plant will stay in the field for the birds. It'll be worth your money. This place is widely read. Not everyone has the stones to post here but everybody reads it. In fact they're pretty strict about buying and selling things on here without either being in the trading post (paid membership) or being a sponsor. If you sponsor, I'll definitely visit your website and so will many others. A good planted dove field is hard to find for mere mortals like me.
