Default 1/8/2011 - belongs in OOS - sorry

    Pretty self explanatory:

This is his 4th. He dropped him like a rock. The Citori was given to me by a friend to hold in trust for LR. We got tired of seeing it just sitting in the gun safe...

For all the planning and fretting, I had a couple of misses - how? It's amazing. I did, finally, drop a huge bird, maybe my biggest of seven that I've killed since 1999.

    Well done y'all.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Did the swan come from NC? Congrats, I love to see our future having success in the field. The bird will be his trophy and the picture yours.

Nothing in the outdoors will ever compare to watching a young gun at work. Good job RH keep him out there!!!

I don't know where the swan came from, only where he died - in NC.

There actually pretty good. We filet the breast, steak the meat and cook it like a piece of filet mignon on the grill - hot and quick.

I roast the legs/thighs in a roasting bag with potatos and carrots.
