    Default Fishing Pics

Got some photos from a fishing trip I did over New Years. I picked up a new camera and lens (Nikon D90 and Tokina 11-16mm). I was happy with how my first set of pics turned out on the new rig. Dave was just happy to be catching fish . He stuck his first fish on fly and caught his first tagged fish in the same day - talk about a horseshoe.

Those are some nice fish. I like the way the sun looks in the first pic.

Great Color and Fish. Some of the best color I have seen in awhile on a pic.

    Thanks fellers.

Boondoggle - that's a Ranger Banshee - pretty much a bare bones skiff, but it will float in 4.5" - have to see it to believe it. Ugly as sin though. It aint no Hells Bay.

I fished out one at Bald Head island. Guy saw me paddling the yak three days in a row and took pity on me. Although, he did scare the bejeezers out me running wide-ass-open in skinny stuff.

Thanks Idle. Picked up the Tokina on a recomendation from one of my fishing buds that also enjoys photography. After using it, I really can't imagine a better boat lens for the pictures I take.
