Sony Vaio laptop? My wife had one, but the power supply no longer works. It had a few other problems (cracked screen, etc), so she replaced it with a Mac. However, all of her photos are still on her old machine. I don't want to spend the money on a new power supply, but I'd like to get her photos off the hard drive. So if any SCDucker has one of these and could let me borrow their power cord for an hour or so, I would appreciate it.

Are you talking about the cord and converter or the laptop 'power supply'?

If you're talking about the external cord/converter, another option is to match the Output (Volts & Amps or milliAmps) with another converter and splice in the connector that plugs into the laptop itself.

If you can come by columbia I'll get them off the drive for you. It will take about 30 min.

WW, I'm in the big city of Cameron.

Millero, would you have any time this afternoon or tomorrow late morning?

MC, thanks for the offer. If I can't get it worked out locally, I will give you a shout.
