    We went out just on the dock in Murrells the other day and caught a good number of spot tails. Haven’t had that much fun in a while on light tackle!

    Indeed a great time of the year here in the lowcountry. Shrimp are everywhere and good sized. Trotlined a bushel of large crabs in no time the other day. Spot tail bass are practically jumping in the boat.

    how do you troutline crabs? I've never tried that.

    The redfish are pretty much always biting. They're thicker than mullet. Anyone who isn't catching them at will couldn't catch a fish in a glass bowl with a hammer.
