Yall be very careful if using Proheart 6... It is a six month treatment for heartworm prevention. I understand there have been about 500 dogs that have died from using this. I have an acquaintance in Georgetown that had a 2 year old Lab die this weekend while he was in the kennel.
Once again, I do not know this as fact - yet. Just a heads up... you may want to contact your Vet and see what their position is on this product.

My biscuit eater has been on it for about 24mos. now. I love the simplicity of it.
The one complaint that I have (and I don't know shit about pharmacology) is that I truly believe it somehow counteracts the flea and tick medicine. I'm using front line plus, and used to get a solid 30 days of coverage from fleas. This summer, I'm lucky if I get a solid 15-18 days of effectiveness from the front line.
Who knows?
I will definitely ask my vet before my pup gets the shoot this next time.

Damn! My vet pulled my dogs off of Revolution about 5 months ago. Seems dogs were getting heartworms anyway.
