First Gator
Started off yesterday morning around 7 am and finally found the gator we were looking for after about 40 minutes or so. First arrow in at 7:50 am then second arrow a few minutes later. Had him beside the boat in about 18 minutes and put him out with the .45. He measured 12ft 6 inches and weighed 560 lbs. Can email pics if someone will post. Thanks

My thoughts exactly JAB. I figure, i'll never retire, always work doing something. Rather have boats, guns now and be able to use em than to save and save and then be too out of health to enjoy it.

OK Capt. Tom I will get you a full length picture since you are an expert on estimating gator lengths from head on shots. I guess I should have called WIS so it would have been legit.
BMG, gator hunting is fun, but not near as exciting as hog hunting.

I thought that it would be implied when I said "obvious from that pic" that I was joking about the length. You can tell that it is a great big gator from the picture. You would however have no way of ever telling how long it is from that pic, therefore it would be impossible for me to even consider calling you out on the length. I am sure it is exactly how long you say it is! I never doubted U!
Just wanted to see if I could get a rise out of some people. Apparently I found out the answer to that question!!!
