    anything worth a shit to eet here? Wife gonna make me go eat there tonight with some of HER friends- I would rather scratch my yam sack, eat vienna sausages, square nabs and drink a hot beer.

    Looks overpriced - $4.50 for a side of Macaroni?
    $21 for a cooked tamie? Do I really only get a duck THIGH for 20 bucks?

    I've been there more than once - and if you like good food and don't like this place, well, I don't know what to tell ya. Yeah, it's pricy, but it's as good as any restaurant around, IMO. I had the duck breast the last time there and it was top notch.

    wife got a call that her friends kid was sick- I may be saved! She wants to go anyway- gave me 2 of her "happy pills" a few minutes ago.

    If it will help get you laid, it is worth it. It is pretty good and a HELL of a lot cheaper than her dragging your ass to Downtown Greenville to one of the many overpriced yankee eateries.

    I had the Shrimp & grits

    wife had crab cakes.

    Pork chop and quail dishes sound delicious. I love me some boudin. I'm not a chicken eater, but Springer Mountain Farms is legit. First certified free range in the country. Its in Georgia. Looks like they are using a lot of local ingredients, that's a big plus for me. This place seems to be doing the same concept we are. I'd defiantly go.
