Quick friends and family shoot this morning. Temps were good, enough dew in the standing millet for the dog to scent birds, and steady shooting as the sun rose.

    5 guns and 5 limits by 8:45.

Several guns on a club field this morning in Darlington County.

I had my limit by 8:00 AM, my brother about 20 minutes later. Good bird numbers. The Swamp Rat Power Line Decoy System pulled 'em well. That I lost no birds was better than anything.

Less than a box of shells.

Out of there by 8:30, home to Lexington, shower, change, and in Williams Brice by kick-off. That was some serious steppin' and fetchin'

That's pretty strong, I don't care who you are.

I was wearing chem gear sweating my butt off today prepping for an inspection with my Reserve unit. Sucked!

45 shells, 15 birds in an hour and 15 mins with my wife's 20ga this afternoon.........not bad for me with a 20ga since I haven't shot one in 3 or 4 years in a bird field...winged a lot of birds in the beginning though until I got used to it.

    MOPP 4 sucks.

Do they still call it MOPP 4? The last time I was issued a promask was in 2007.
