    Default Fronts and Dove Migrations?

Do doves make significant movements ahead of fronts (like the cool front headed our way Saturday)? Or is their southward movement more of a random trickle during the fall?

I sure hope not,but i have seen them pack up and go on very similar situations.Quite a few years ago,we had a field that was loaded and around thursday or friday of that week (second week of the season) a cold front came in,dropping highs into the low 80's and lows in the mid-upper 50's and when saturday came,ALL our birds were gone.
If it aint got 8 toes & a green head,it aint a duck.
