Default just back from fishing the Yakima in Washington

Had a very memorable trip down the Yakima. Giant stone flys were hatching and we yanked in several rainbows and cutbows of around 16 inches on huge foam flys. Later in the morning as the sun rose we caught more trout but smaller (12 in or so) on size 16 caddis. A beautiful wild river.

    wow.

    im impressed.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Congrats on an awesome trip.I love that place and have fished there a "few" times.

Too bad you didn't hit the Columbia. They are having a record Salmon run this year. Over 500,000 Silvers predicted.

I will be out there soon.

See any of the Yak Valley Bighorn Sheep while you were on the water?

Missed out on the bighorn. It has been such a wet year that they have not come down to water yet.
