    Dan Morris , a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service worker on the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Harney County, holds a 6 1/2 pound carp. "He put up a good fight," said Morris, who snagged it using a spinning outfit with corn for bait. A population explosion of carp in the refuge's 50,000-acre Malheur Lake is driving off the millions of waterfowl the refuge is famous for.

    I hate them things no matter where they live and one of my lovely uncle's decide about 5 years ago to put 50 in our 8 acre woods pond!!!!
    My thoughts exactly JAB. I figure, i'll never retire, always work doing something. Rather have boats, guns now and be able to use em than to save and save and then be too out of health to enjoy it.

    i've hunted there, damn shame its just so far from civilization, otherwise there would be a hell of a dent put on by bowfishers. Bowfishing is getting popular out there...problem is, it sits 4 hours from any town with a population.

    A mass stocking of retenone needs to take place. Just fucking kill everything and start from scratch.
