10 lb bass... WOW

well went fishing yesterday after work with a buddy of mine on his pond.... we put my boat in and i caught a 1.5 pounder on the first cast... second cast i missed one, third cast i catch another piss ant..... all the while my buddy is untangling rods and riggin up worms and making all kinda racket.... he finally gets a rod ready and throws it out there... picks the backlash out for a few seconds and then answers the phone.... he picks his rod up and has one biting it... he slams back into it and drops the phone.... he looked at me and says "oooo shit its a good'n". this fella is no stranger to big bass, he put a 12 pounder on the wall. when he says he has a good one he as a good one.... about that time he comes out of the water.... HOLY CRAP!!!! i threw my rod down and wrastled the net out from underneath his stack or tangled rods... a few runs under the boat and he came to the top, and i dipped him..... .

weighed 9.95lbs. we snapped a few pics and he turned the old gal loose.....

biggest bass i have ever seen caught.... ive been waiting on that 10 pounder all my life, and thats as close as i have ever been.... maybe my time will come...

hell no, he wont let a shiner anywhere near that pond...

fish was caught on a texas rigged watermelon trick worm.... that cork was on one of his rods that he had all tangled up in the back of the truck.. he just brought the whole arm full and untangled them as we fished.....
