Honestly? Turn on your wireless for your lap top and see how many networks you can pick up from your crib.

I know a fella that can access 3 home wireless networks from his kitchen and he innerwebs for free.

Don't know if it might be of interest to you but a friend of mine has his internet connection through Verizon. He had an office at his home but did away with the landline and dsl hook up. His wife bought two new verizon phones and he has it tethered to his computer when he needs a high speed connection, the phone acts as the modem. Still enables him to answer his phone without interuption. I don't know all of the specifics but it would be worth checking out unless you are looking for a package deal with cable and internet.

Dex who is your cell phone provider with? If it is Sprint or Verizon get you an aircard that way you can take it anywhere and the bill will probably be A LOT cheaper.

I have dish network here at the house so I cant comment on comcast or knology.

DirecTv basic package and add the sports package for $12. You get a bunch of outdoor channels and all the various fox sports channels, CBS college sports, etc. Well worth the $12 IMO.
