bigbro got a couple crackers and I got a couple bream.

Having previously pulled 19 grown ones off the bed, we weren't left with much.
    Maybe 10 fish....mostly around a pound.

Dude you got skills with a cane pole.......

Slow morning...biggest was just shy of 1.5.

Fair assessment to say there are some 2lb crackers caught off that piece of water.

I learned my cane poling techniques by tipping the hook on my flyrod.

    Appreciate the invite.

I'll say this for the Bog. My grandboy wanted to kill some snipe, Bog said I got the snipe bring plenty of shells. Me and the grandboy met Bog right off the interstate, drove to a farm where we chatted a while getting acquainted.

Bog said a lot of the snipe had left but we should find some. My first thought was, "Uh Oh, this is gonna be a bust cause he exaggerated." But then I thought if he exaggerated why the invite. That didn't make any sense.

Headed for the fields where we met up with a couple of Bog's peeps. He had snipe, plenty of snipe, hundreds of snipe, maybe 500-600 even. I can imagine there were probably a lot more earlier like he said.

Not only did he have snipe, him and his buddies busted their azzes to put birds in front of my grandson. And walking back and forth hundreds and hundreds of yard in sucking mud almost knee deep on a hot humid day is work in anybody's book. That's what those guys did so that the boy could shoot more.

I was not paying Bog, I didn't buy his gas or shells, he did it because he wanted to see the grandboy have a good time and kill his first snipe.

It's obvious to anyone who's hunted with Bog that he really gets lit up by showing someone a good time. That might not get him to heaven but it's a dang good thing if you fish or hunt with him.

The grandson had a GREAT time! He even liked Bog a lot, he asks me from time to time if I've talked to him lately.

Same with these 2 lbers. I gotta believe Bog caught them, otherwise why take the chance on inviting BB? I'm just saying.

Like I've said before, I don't care if a man tortures kittens and robs 7-11s, if he treats my grandbabies right...then he's good with me.

I would like to augment Mergie's words.

Bog is a great host, he made sure I was down wind so I would not get a contact high. jk.

I'd love to, but I am trying to talk some buddies into swindling their pops into letting us use the big boat to chase some dolphin.

I can swing a morning or afternoon next week though.

    get with me sunday.
