I have tilt and trim on my 70 and i do not have a problem getting out the hole if i want to...my boat will jump onto the pad! I simply was doing this for a photo opp. It was deep enough water, nobody was around, and someone else asked me to do this! It's not like i was trying to be reckless and do a funny trick and endanger anyone else. Someone wanted a photo of my boat standing up, so i did it for them. I'm not giving anyone a bad name! I was in open deep water, giving someone else a photo opp. I don't like other hunters and/or sportsmen giving others a bad name, i totally agree with you on that aspect, and I was in no way, shape, or form giving anyone a bad name! In fact, i go to extremes to stand up for our right to hunt, making sure others do not give all of us a bad name! It's not like i was around docks, tubers, or other boats! And i wasn't trying to show out for anyone, someone simply wanted a photo of this, so i did it for them! I'm sorry that these are the only pictures of my boat that i have! I'm not wound up, i just feel as if others on here think i'm a maverick, and that i am unsafe with my boat when that entirely isn't true in any aspect. About those croakies, they are a bit lively but i like them! Maybe for the fact that nobody else has them! And as far as this picture being a stupid picture, i would totally have to disagree! I think it is bad ass myself, but then again that is my opinion. We are all entitled to all of our opinions, and if anyone on here thinks I'm unsafe or stupid for doing this, then i respect your opinion! This was simply done for a photo opp. obviously and it was conducted safely! And as far as the Quads, there are some things that happen in the Quads that are shocking, haha. I think Quad 3 by far is the worst though, seeing as i live in it now! If these pictures or any of my comments offends anyone on here, sorry, but i do not appreciate anyone talking about me, my boat, or operational skills when they do not know me! Thats all i was getting at!

From what i've read, no one was calling you out. You just kinda jumped to conclusions. Piece of advice, half the crap on here is for fun, if someone jumps on ya, go with it. If you let it bother you they will bring it more.

How fast will that boat run with the 70? I heard the coastals are a little faster than the super v's. Had a super v, but never rode in a coastal. Do they slide as bad as a HT?

Now that I have made a few comments based on yours it is time for me get down to the nitty gritty.

If you are gonna be stupid you gotta be tough because stupid hurts.

Not that it would have been funny, however had to fallen out of the boat and it ended up running over you while you were in the water would that "photo op" been worth it? Probability says you can do the same stunt 1000 times but it doesnt take but 1 time for you to be disabled for the rest of your life and then being a burden for someone else to have to take care of your maverick ass.

Just my .02 cents.

Doing that type of "trick" anywhere in the swamp is not safe at all. I am not going to make any comments about your "boat" because you seem sensitive about it but, If you would have hit a stump or your motor would have stopped running for any reason you would have been getting your "boat" from the bottem of the "deep" water you were showing off in. You should take the advice of SCdeerBASSturkey, it is wise words.
