    Default 4-8 Hartwell report

Left the shop around 12:30-ish, fishing around 2:30. Caught 1 hybrid around the 5-6 lb range, 1 about 1.5-2 lb, and a small large mowf. Up river pulling free lines. After the strom rolled through around 4:00 it was dead. Did notice the crappies started popping the water after the storm.

I know exactly what you mean, tried it for about 30 minutes and went back to pullin. I'm gonna try to get back out Wed if possible. Gonna try the cut bait a little longer next time, especially on the points. I hear the grown'uns are coming from D cut bait.

I am told to spend at least 1 hour in a spot and always be sure and throw a couple of lines to each side of the boat in shallow water.

It works as much as I HATE TO DO IT, bottom of boat takes a damn beating but I started using cajun anchor to keep from running up on bank and that seems to work
