Publix is nice but pricey. I usually shop wherever the sales are.

Nahhhh....my 19 yr old girl-child just helped make a batch of home-made sweet-n-sour sauce a few days ago, (which was pretty damn good, if you ask me). She also helps with herb drying, canning & freezing. I believe it all comes down to: "PASS IT ON DOWN", nothing more or less. I learned from my parents & especially grandparents. I can only hope my kids have learned something from me.

If you do not teach your children, what do you expect & who do you have to blame for lack of knowledge???

People worry about their kids just "not getting it". Well, it doesn't happen by osmosis. You have to invest time in them and they will enjoy those things to which they've been exposed - simple as that.

Wife clips coupons and hits a different store depending on the sale and coupon incentives. She saves us a load of cash, and impresses me with the way she is able to find this stuff.

People think Publix is the most expensive and that shy's a lot of people away from them. I've heard that they are the #1 store to shop for the coupon crowd.

That's a big 10-4 cusportsman. My wife makes a trip there at least bi-weekly with her coupon book in tow.... double value on the coupons, if I'm not mistaken
