Man...you did not give enough options!

    When in NC:
Harris Teeter or Ingles, (Ingles are jackasses regarding coupons & I DO coupon - BIG TIME)
Bi-Lo/Food Lion (owned by same company now) if there is a good "weekly special"
    Fresh Market for specialty foods/wines
    Blue Water for fresh seafood

    When in SC:
Piggly Wiggly if @ farm or Edisto,
    Kroger if in Cola area
    Publix if in Greenville area

    When in TN/MS:
    Kroger or Schnucks

    When in TX:
    HEB or WholeFood

For the "bulk" purchases, I buy direct from Sysco Food Services. Nothing better than having to buy detergent, plastic wrap, freezer bags, cooking oil, spices, foil, onions, potatoes, etc once a year. Saves a bundle!

I also can veggies, tomato sauce, peppers, pepper sauce, pizza sauce, BBQ sauce, whop/chop/bread & freeze garden vegetables + use dehydrator to "put up" herbs every year. This is a big money saver for us.

NOW: Tell us why we answered this damn poll, please.

But, if there could only be ONE

Publix. Wife started this couponing thing when we went to one income, she bought $320 worth of groceries last week, paid $140 for them. It has helped us tremendously.

Com'on dude. I've never laid eyes on you. And what's this business about your beliefs?

The only difference that I can see between you and me is that I don't concern myself about your eternal soul, I have a sense of humor, and I'm not an Obama supporter.

If you guys don't lighten up in here, someone's apt to have a stroke.

FYI - There's a joke hidden in there about Obama.

BI-LO or IGA. I boycotted Food Lion years ago for personal reasons. Only go there when they sell beer below cost now.

publix is where the wife goes. she is into the whole coupon deal too. she will come home and tell me she spent $100 and saved $80. We went from a $100/week grocery bill to $65/week on average.

"Reid's also runs sale advertisements on several radio stations in South Carolina, featuring the chain's namesake Reid Boylston reading the week's specials over the phone and closing with an exuberant recitation of the chain's slogan, "We can save you money!"

Nah, just couldn't help it. We ain't got no Reid's up here. We shop at the most geographically pleasing - which is BiLo for us. Plus they've usually got good register talent.

Remember? Hell, I know a guy that's got one in his cattle field. Just standing there. They were fiberglass, btw.

Our rival hs was Mauldin (the mavericks) - where Candork went. Our senior year of hs, we were scheming to take it to the football game - at their stadium - in my truck and were gonna drag it around when we got there. Had it all worked out, then somebody ratted us out and the plan somehow fell apart.
