I help guide a few fellas last month on a hog hunt who are avid golf types and are in the know more than us. I thought it was interesting what they had to say about the whole thing. Here's the abridged version of the "true" story or what i remember of it after several tall vodka sodas... And of course, shortened cause I hate to type and could give a rip:

Thanksgiving night Tiger is passed out due to ambien, his phone starts to blow up with text messages from one of the many significant others. Hot super model wife checks text, freaks out and takes the 9 iron to the sleeping husbands grill, more than once... All fucked up, tiger runs for his life crashes and is immediately rushed to the hospital where the ER docs can’t help much with the cosmetics of the whole thing. He jumps in his private jet, assisted of course; jets to Arizona for reconstructive surgery, where he has been recovering every since. Reason 1 why he was not available to be interviewed by the local police, or been shown in any photos (public or private), held a press conference, yad yad yad… No sex rehab in Mississippi or any of that b/s… All rumors made up to by the legend and his people to allow for a little extra time for his grill to heal. Look to see the media limited press conference on Friday to be dimly lit or restrictions of photos of the star. He might be rocking the shades like Bochephus did after his tragic fall or come out with all gold fronts like Little John, WHAT-OK!

What say ye? Just what I heard, don’t hang the messenger, for I still don’t give a rip, but found it funny that it was the topic of conversation at a freaking hunting camp…

i think the problem is the media/public thinks they deserve an apology for something that is none of their business.

It's all about the money/sponsors/endorsements/"how I am perceived by others"; NOT love of his family or his sport.

A real man would have "manned up" from day one, AND said publicly that his wife/children were to be left alone. Then met the rest of the gossip & speculation head-on.

All of Mr. Woods' statements came across as: threatening or self serving. Lacking in sincerity, if you ask me.

You can put a cow pie in a box, wrap it up real pretty & tie with a ribbon. It looks real nice for a little while; but at the end of the day; it's still a stinky pile of cow poop in a cardboard box...

His first mistake was getting married. He's famous, rich, and a man. Why the hell would you get married, especially when you are under the age of 30 when you do?

I think everybody should leave him alone. It's between his him and his wife, and he doesn't owe anybody else an explanation. I'm sick of hearing about it on the news everynight. He's got more money than davey crockett. So what if he loses his endorsements.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

It's all about the media having a story, to generate more viewers (readers), so they won't loose their business/job.

The media is so over concerned about "the story", that they fail to realize most of us could care less.

What's it matter if he looses sponsors?
He's got more money now, than he could ever spend.
He don't need no freaking sponsors no more.

The thing that disturbs me about the entire Tiger Woods "scandal":

Why was it necessary for the President of the United States feel the need to comment on the situation?

The only situation that son of a bitch needs to worry about is Iran building nukes, those rabid towel heads in the desert, and our economy and the efforts he is making to send us all to the poor house.

Once a cheating POS, always a cheating POS. And it is always with the biggest SKANKS!!! I mean, you would think he would be able to pick up some type of professionals of some sort instead of the dregs of society.

His wife is waaay out of his league. Best thing she can do is to move on now and be glad she found out about it early on, rather than having him pull that kind of stuff for years and years.
