Towns are gonna shut down with a little dusting. However if it keeps up like it has been here we will be getting quite a bit.

I am digging through my travel trailer now to try and find my logging chain.

Last time Columbia got a big snow, I made $400, just driving around, doing shit any red-blooded redneck would enjoy doing.

Everybody got charged $20, little old ladies were free, guys in sports cars were charged $50.

    Bwahahahahahahaaaaa

I'll be stayin' at the house until it clears up.

The wife and I loaded some food and a few Shiner Hefe's in the car and went to the lake to spend the night in the house and watch the stuff come down. Got there and just settled in when she had a migraine kick in. So, back home we came.

It was pretty while I was there.

There's over an inch of snow on the deck at this point. Probably gonna end up with at least three by the looks of it.

I got 4 gallons of milk, 12 loaves of bread, 10 cases of beer, 20 cases of potted meat, and a 55 gallon drum full of gas. Just in case.

Weather geeks turned their eyes to Hawaii. In that tropical paradise, where a ski club strangely exists, observers were looking closely at the islands' mountain peaks to see if they could find a trace of white to make it a rare 50-for-50 states with snow. But there was no snow in sight.
Hawaii's 13,800-foot Mauna Kea volcano, which often gets snow much of the year at its higher elevations, is the most likely place in the 50th state to have snow, but there "is nothing right now," said research meteorologist Tiziana Cherubini at the Mauna Kea Weather Center. It has been a few weeks since there has been snow in the mountains, and none is in the forecast, ruining a perfect 50-for-50, she said.
