Better yet, every 10 minutes of play each team loses one competitor till it's 2 on 2 then they play till someone damn scores. No wait! if you hit the ground you're disqualified...hell yeah, that would shorten this abortion like there's no tomorrow. Let's face it, the rules are the same for men and women and they play with a polka dotted ball...soccer is gay.

Soccer is the most spectated sport in the world. over 1 billion people watched yesterday. I just thought maybe some these "COOL GUYS" on this site might enjoy something that is more spectated than nascar, or im sorry watchin cars take left turns all day.....thats a waste of good land.....i just thought that maybe yall would be interested in something that is more appreciated in society better than the olympics. To me that is pretty damn cool. especially when they stop civil war in certain countries in Africa to watch the World Cup, but to tell the truth I figured all I would get from this post was a bunch of ignorant comments....

Ok first in my opinion, Soccer isn't a sport it is an activity right up there with tennis badmiton, darts and snycronized swimming. BUT i do like the T&a in the above pics and I am all for an activity that promotes such debauchery..I think I will start watching and chugg a beer everytime a person head butts the ball.

It always amuses me that people who are fans of soccer feel that those of us that don't give a shit about it aren't as "cultured" and cool as they are. It's like they think that we're not willing to look at it and see the nuances and shit that make it a worldwide draw.

Just because there was a billion some-odd people watching it doesn't exactly leave me feeling like I missed something.

You know what I was doing during the final? Fishing. No, maybe I was cutting grass. No, well, I really don't know what the hell I was doing, because I couldn't even tell you when that final was.

I know that in American FOOTBALL, the flopping around after a hit would get your ass whooped just for making a spectacle. You would be labeled a P***Y and would subsequently be jacked up at the next opportunity.

i watched it. I watched the 3rd place game, too. I taped the games I couldn't watch that came on during the week at 10:00am and 3:00pm so I could watch after work.

I was glad to see Germany beat Portugal. I like Figo, but England should've been playing France in the first place.

Fuck France....but they controlled the final most of the game. Their star (Zidane-age 33, i think) lost his cool much like Rooney and others and screwed the pooch with the stupid headbutt. Italy is an older team, too. One of their best players is in his mid 30s, too. They played a very controlled final after going down 1-0 in the early minutes. Great goal on the header on the corner. Much better than france's cheap PK early on.

I hate to see PKs decide it all, but after 2 full hours of running around the pitch, it has to be time to crown a victor. Kudos to Italy for some brilliant strikes on the PKs. I bet it was fun in Italy last night. REAL fun.
